ABOUT:
WHY I BECAME A PC: I became a PC because I really love to talk peers through the life problems that arise in our everyday lives - whether these are small or big issues. My high school didn't have counseling services in any way and in retrospect I think that this would have really helped a lot of kids through a generally rough time. So, when I learned about the Peer Counseling program here at Kenyon, I immediately wanted to be a part of it. I think that a lot of times we think that the little things that make us anxious or upset - maybe academic or social stress - aren't important enough to talk about. The Peer Counseling program at Kenyon is the perfect platform on which we can begin to discuss these smaller issues more comfortably. We all feel down sometimes and it is incredibly important to make it known that you are not alone- we are all struggling during this time of transition, and it is cathartic and immeasurably helpful to support each other in any way we can through open (and private) dialogue.
CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS: Kenyon Democrats, Kenyon JStreet U, Archons Community Service Society
INTERESTS: I really love to traveling when I can, reading, going on bike rides, eating good food, spending time with friends and family, and lying on the beach doing nothing.
FUN FACT: I have 8 water frogs as pets! None of them have names though, because we can't tell them apart. I've had them for nearly a decade.
